Privacy
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This Privacy notice explains how DreamGood Studio (“DreamGood,” “we,” “us”) collects and uses information when you visit dreamgood.studio, preview or license productions, create an account, use the Vault, or contact the desk.
This is a working draft for the website. It has not been reviewed by counsel and is not legal advice. Beat licenses, Exclusive deals, and License Schedule PDFs are separate documents — this page is about the site and your account, not the music rights grant itself.
1. Who we are
DreamGood Studio is the boutique storefront and production desk for Produced By Shad. Contact: hello@dreamgood.studio.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
• Account details — name or display name, email, password (stored hashed), and Vault / order history tied to your account
• Checkout details — email, billing country/region, payment status, and related transaction metadata. Card numbers are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on DreamGood servers
• Guest checkout — cart session data and the email you provide at payment so we can fulfill your license and Vault unlock
• Inquiries — messages you send through Start a Record or Exclusive request flows (brief, contact info, project notes)
• Usage data — pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate location from IP, and referral info
• Cookies and similar tech — session cookies for cart, signed-in state, and security; optional analytics cookies or scripts if enabled
Previews are public. Masters, stems, and other entitled files stay private until a paid license unlocks them in your Vault.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
• Run the catalog, cart, checkout, and Vault downloads
• Fulfill licenses, email receipts or claim links, and produce License Schedule records branded DreamGood.studio
• Respond to Start a Record, Exclusive, and support requests
• Keep the site secure (fraud, abuse, account disable)
• Improve the storefront (including privacy-conscious analytics such as Vercel Analytics when enabled)
• Meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Payments
Payments run through Stripe. Stripe’s privacy terms apply to data they process as payment provider. Tax may apply depending on your location and Stripe Tax settings.
5. Cookies, sessions, and analytics
We use essential cookies/sessions so guest carts and sign-in work. If analytics are turned on, they help us understand traffic and conversion in aggregate. We do not currently ship a separate cookie banner; counsel may require one based on your audience and tools.
6. Sharing
We share information only as needed with:
• Stripe (payments and tax)
• Hosting and infrastructure providers (for example Vercel, database, and file storage for previews/masters)
• Email or ops tools if we use them to send transactional messages
• Professionals who help run the house (accountant, counsel) under confidentiality
• Authorities when required by law
We do not rent or sell customer lists for third-party marketing.
7. Downloads and Vault
After a paid order, entitled files are available through signed or authenticated download links. Keep your account credentials private. If you used guest checkout, follow the claim / password prompts so licenses stay in your Vault.
8. Retention
We keep account, order, and license records as long as needed to provide the Vault, prove purchase, and meet legal/tax retention. Inquiry emails and drafts may be kept while a conversation is open and for a reasonable period after. You can ask us to delete account data that is not required for legal or license records (see below).
9. Your choices
• Update account details where the site allows
• Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion or account closure, subject to records we must keep for paid licenses, tax, and fraud prevention
• Opt out of non-essential analytics where we provide a control, or by contacting us
Email hello@dreamgood.studio with “Privacy” in the subject. We may need to verify it is you before acting.
10. Children
The site is aimed at artists and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the local standard). If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International visitors
The site may be hosted in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers operate.
12. Changes
We may update this notice. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you have seen the revised notice.
